RUNNING FROM A NIGHTMARE

PERFECT STRANGERS

Brampton's very own hard rock band Perfect Strangers is back! Perfect Strangers second project comes almost 1 full year after their debut EP and its fair to say they are back with their good ol' hard rock sound that they brought with their first project. Running From A Nightmare contains their two previously released singles "Are You The One?" and "A Song For You" which had also both been remixed for the EP's release. With highlights of tracks such as Want To Leave with its driving guitar and drum rhythm, and "Street Prowler" with its speedy guitar and soaring vocals this EP is one you don't want to miss. Although the EP is generally a hard rock staple of the current music scene it lacks the punch their original EP contained with some tracks feeling a bit repetitive and drawn out like "Running From a Nightmare". One thing the EP brings that most bands haven't done since the 70's and 80's is a guitar solo track. "Everest" is guitar player Anthony Vitanza's nod to Eddie Van Halen and it doesn't disappoint one bit. To conclude, "Running From A Nightmare" is a great EP and it could only mean that their next EP is going to be filled with all the heavy hitting hard rock bangers. The only question that remains now is... when is that coming?

SAINT COMPLEX

DEAR EVANGELINE

The debut single of Brampton hardcore band Dear Evangeline is here. Produced by none other than the Dine Alone Records signed
DEAR-GOD this single packs a heavy punch with pretty much perfect production. With its hardcore staple vocals and driving bass and guitars its quite the debut for the band that came seemingly out of nowhere but they came with a goal in mind. What's next from Dear Evangeline? Only time will tell...

KISS YOUR SHADOWS

NERiMA

Oshawa's very own alt-punk rock band NERiMA is back! Almost one exact year after releasing their previous EP "HAVE MORE FUN" they bring us "KISS YOUR SHADOWS". Previously releasing not one, not two, but three singles to tease the EP, all eyes were on the band to see what was cooking in the kitchen. Turns out what they were cooking was nothing short of a 5 star meal with this latest EP. Boasting hits such as "BAD ENDING" and "Penance" this EP leaves you wanting more and more from the band and we don't blame you for wanting exactly that. Even we want more from the band but we will have to wait until they get back into the kitchen to cook us another project.
